Panettone French Toast #Shorts

Ingredients:
3 eggs
1 tbsp vanilla paste
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 cup milk
1/2 cup Jakeman's Maple Syrup
1/2 tsp salt, to taste
2 pc panettone, sliced
1/2 tsp olive oil
1 tbsp butter

Jakeman's Maple Syrup
Icing sugar

Directions:
1. In a large bowl, whisk together whole eggs, vanilla paste, cinnamon, 1/4 milk, a glug of Jakeman's maple syrup and a pinch of salt.
2. Next, slice the panettone and let it soak in the mixture for 3-4 minutes per side.
3. Preheat a cast-iron pan over medium-low heat. Add a splash of oil and butter.
4. Once the butter melts, put the panettone slices into the pan and let them cook for 3-4 minutes per side.
5.Remove the French toast from the pan when it's cooked, dust with icing sugar and top with Jakeman's maple syrup.
