Northampton delivers unique course for air ambulance doctors and paramedics

Air ambulance doctors and paramedics from across the UK learned how to respond to emergencies involving pregnant women and
newborn babies at a unique training course run by Northampton General Hospital earlier this year.
The training programme, the only one of its kind in the country, has been designed to give air ambulance personnel the skills to deal with a range of childbirth-related scenarios including emergency caesarean deliveries and resuscitating new-born babies.
