What does it mean for TAIWAN ? Simple, you are on your own. No Americans, Indians, Japanese, Australians are coming to rescue Taiwan.

However, China and Russia currently maintain the best relations they have had since the late 1950s. Although they do not have an official alliance, the two countries have an informal agreement to coordinate diplomatic and economic steps and form an alliance against the United States.

China is NOT going to invade Taiwan:
1. Taiwan poses no threat to China's security or economy.
2. China has a very "condoning" attitude towards Taiwan. A big part of Taiwan's economy relies on exports to China but they have not faced one single sanction from China like it happened to Australia or other countries.
3. China could had invaded Taiwan and get the know-how of making chips, but instead China has hired a lot of taiwanese engineers of TSMC with millionaires salaries, and invested hundreds of billions into developing it's own chip making technology, and China is already getting great results on this.
4. The biggest win China can score for its international image, is that eventually Taiwan will voluntarily ask China for reunification, which will happen in the future once the Chinese economy surpasses Taiwan's economy in all indicators.
