The better choice is the regular S21.
Since it came out almost a year ago, its always on sales every where so you can get it for pretty much the same price as the FE (or even cheaper)

Had the S21 FE for about a week now, I upgraded from an S9. Zero remorse, literally none, even after seeing the S22 launch, none! It performs beautifully only issue I've noticed is when restarting the device it's a little sluggish loading everything but it's easy for me to ignore that seeing as the overall performance is awesome. Thanks for confirming a good choice. 👍 👌

I could not agree more, Dave. This was the exact choice I was faced with when contemplated an upgrade from my Pixel 4a 5G. I went with the FE from Best Buy at $499. Net of my trade-in, my cost was $275. The phone has been problem free for me and the specs and value for money are terrific. And I love the plastic back and HATE glass-backed phones! I wanted to get the Pixel for its cleaner Android build, but the problems just don't seem to be going away for many.

It’s nice to see tech reviewers acknowledge the sales tactics that Samsung employs. Almost every other video was laughing at the MSRP without realizing that the phone is likely to go on sale every other day.

Got the January update for my pixel 6. Went to it from my iPhone 8 and I've seen a hearty jump in improvements. Shouldn't be this buggy at all but I'm happy some of the annoying things I was dealing with got fixed

This was exactly my experience too when I had the pixel 6 pro. I returned mine and got the S21 FE instead. Super happy with it.

The plastic back of the 21 FE feels amazing tbh. I thought it'd feel cheap, but it ended up being more premium feeling than the 21 and 21 plus.

I love the fan edition better than the other models they’ve come out with. The Pixel 6 is awesome but I can’t trust the reliability.

For a phone called fan edition, the lack of headphone jack and SD card expansion seriously bugs me. Of course a moot point in comparison between pixel and fe.

Man, even the s20 fe was better than my current s21 ultra in so many levels. I honestly would get the s21 FE. It was the best, affordable flagship quality phone in the market.

"Premium" materials are the biggest scam of the phone industory. My "premium" OnePlus 7 Pro with the glass back and metal frame looks like garbage and I am one who takes good care of his stuff, the only time I dropped it and even caught the drop with my foot partially, it broke my back glass. It's heavier, gets scratched quicker and looks worse as soon as it's damaged, the metal started shaving randomly and it isn't just a little cut like it would be with plastic which then smooths out usually, this is razor sharp and the frame around the camera is sharp as well and is literally damaging the tables I put it on. There's no plus with these premium materials like glass and metal, none.

I wish glass backs had never become a thing! I miss plastic backs with removable batteries.

I had to get the 20FE because of chip shortages last year, and it's very solid. I'd rather have more power going to tablets where you can notice the graphics and play more. The phone is pretty much for social, GPS and email.

these long term reviews are so much more useful when deciding between 2 phones, there are so many small details about phones that you have to deal with everyday ... 120 hz becomes irrelevant after a few days, the brightness of your screen dropping to 1 in plain day light is something that will annoy you all day every day

4:10 Pixel 6 had some insane sales in the UK, going as low as £450 for the 6 and £600 for the 6 Pro

In New Zealand, the S21 FE costs more than the S21 at launch. Pricing makes no sense 🤦
