Thank you for the helpful tutorial for Cricut engraving. I used the colored aluminum sheets from Silhouette with my Silhouette Curio, but now have a Cricut Maker 3 and want to use it to engrave more sheets. I saw several on the link you provided.
I also want to try the round blanks, making personalized keychains is fun. Using the markers you mention will probably work better then markers.. did not work as well, but you taught me something new with that too.

Hello, Angie. I love you tutorial on engraving on aluminum. I have one question. When I follow your tutorial, when I get to the stage of starting to engrave, the on/off button on my Cricut Maker 3 starts flashing red and doesn't engrave. I have tried several times to get past this point, but nothing works. Any ideas?

I’m trying to engrave on aluminum with my explore air 2 using a Chomas precision tip. My settings are: Operation/cut and Cardstock Setting. The engraving comes out very rough to the touch. What can I do to have a smooth surface? Or what am I doing wrong?

I tried engraving on anodized/painted aluminum but it won’t engrave completely and had to etch on top of it a couple times. The design also came out scratchy. Is there something that I might be doing wrong?
