Not one of my family members tests positive for this. We are all related according to 23 and Me.
Only I test positive. When I got my diagnosis, I told everyone to go get tested. They all thought I was nuts. Now I think I am too.

My mom has celiac. I dont have it, and neither do any of my family members. My sister has an allergy to gluten, but not celiac

Nowadays everybody thinks that they have this disease! It's scary. And also, a lot of persons with alimentary disorders use this an excuse for not eating a bunch of things... And of course most of them have nothing! if they really had it they wouldn't be so happy... It gives you terrible diarrhea ):
