The chopper in this video is a 2004 American Ironhorse Texas Chopper with an S&S motorcycle v-twin 111Ci. engine.

The tips show here will apply to most motorcycles and not just choppers or the American Ironhorse.S&S engine oil change.

A motorcycle oil change is easy to do, but, you should always first read your motorcycle manual.

Thanks for the video! Just inherited a 2005 Swift Bar Chopper CSF, from my father in law. Very similar to all the other big name customs. Mine has a 2" chassis, which I think is the only real difference.

Thanks to YouTube, and videos such as yours, I'm able to do all my own wrenching. Didn't come with any owners manual.

Thanxx for the demonstration, ,, I just bought an 04 Texas Chopper, 15 k miles . The bike is Beautiful !! I haven't seen a Scratch Yet ..2 wore out Metzler tires getting replaced next week .. 18/240 on back and 90/21 on front i think .. Thanxx 4 the video

Hi, thanks for this video, it's so good, I have an Independence bike and I am going to change all three oils but I have a question, can you tell me what type of oil I have to use in the transmission? Specifically what grade of oil.

hi very good video thanks im doing my 04 texas chopper now re engine drian plug myn is very tight do u know what size allen key it uses and if it comes off clock wise or anti clock wise any other suggestios /tips to solve this issue as dont wana strip head or damage motor cheers

Nice video. My bike doesn't have that drop line. The oil bag is a keg style. It's a 96 S&S custom flyrite. How do I get the oil out?

What is the sensor/plug that gets removed so you can get the filter out easier? It’s right next to the filter, on the front of the engine.

Why would you take your filter off before draining the oil? That doesn't make sense to me unless you want to clean up a crap load of oil off your bike..??

My 2004 chopper doesn't seem to have and engine drain plug.  It has a HD engine code BKLX929293 stamped on the left lower side of the engine.
