Let me try to explain 7. Bg7Θg8 wasn't a winning move. After he played Bxf3 he couldve put the duck on b4 and then after bxc3 there is Qxc3Θd2 and you can't take the rook because you have to move the king. Then you can't play duck g8 because your rook on a1 would be hanging.
