I Built A Real Life Nether Portal! (Real Obsidian!)

I've always wanted to build a real life Nether Portal from Minecraft, but I could never get my hands on any obsidian! But after mining into the Gold Dig It's, I racked up tons of obsidian blocks! Time to build a Nether Portal and see if it will take us to the Overworld! Enjoy!

I was actually gonna do this on my own YouTube channel, but I had trouble buying obsidian online (it's so expensive and hard to find small cubes). My idea was to put a piece of green paper the size of the inside of the nether portal inside it, then chroma key it out with editing. Recording a short clip in front of a nether portal on Minecraft then putting that behind the chroma keyed part makes it look real.

For anybody out there using cyanoacrylate adhesive (super glue), get some nail polish remover that _contains acetone._ That will unstick your skin if you accidentally stick it together.

A good idea is to add purple colored resin with a tiny amount of glitter to make it look like it's lit up in the middle

Could have done one or two things.

1. Add something flammable on it so it does light up
2. Put in front of green screen and pretend you're going through it
