Buying a 1995 Honda Cub 90 in 2020...

I bought another one... impatiently filmed on my phone because I get too keen and stuck in! It needs some more work done to it so I will bring you alone in the journey. Very pleased so far!

Love these bikes ive had twelve honda cubs over thirty three years first one paid 60 pounds for a 1979 t reg c50 33 years later just paid eighteen hundred pounds for a 1980 v reg c70 fully restored to like new in blue six volt round headlamp model u have to pay serious money now for a good one worth every penny love it .👍

For the rust stained plastic, try some citric acid. Just leave it to soak for a bit and the stain will be gone in probably a few hours

I find ACF50 a really good rust proofer for my Vespa PX which I have to keep outside under a cover. Not ideal, but it's keeping rust at bay 🙂

In Belgium during the 90's people were mostly driving Honda Wallaroo and Honda Camino. The Camino was produced in my city Aalst, Belgium. Guess that's why I don't ever see old Cubs available in Belgium.

invest in a basic polishing mop and some different pads, a lot of the scratches/discolouring and even some rust should come off with different compound polishes.

Definitely try that before you use any sand paper!
