As long as you replace the g13 every 12 months so anything magnesium or aluminium alloy doesn't corrode away. The bags is to keep levels of silica up in the coolant to reduce corrosion and it will drop without it

Esa bolsa que veis en el anticongelante es ( g13 silicato) para mí uno de los peores remedios, ya que esa mini bolsita lleva piedras y si se salen o se rompen va directamente al circuito y (NO CUBRE GARANTÍA ) EL DESTROZO QUE HACE !!!! YO lo cambie en un taller de confianza y puse el modelo moderno (G12 EVO)

When this bag goes, it clogs up the heater matrix. No hot air from the blowers! I had to remove the bottom half of the dash to replace it 😢 pain in the arse

There’s people who have had these bags split and completely block the coolant system massive repair involved 😮 i took mine out and change the coolant every oil change.
