Crazy how much she evolved from the first film in taking down the Ghostface killers. The first film she had your average "teen in a horror film fighting for their life" energy, by the second (from what I remember) it was a bit more advanced, the third film she had shaken it a bit and mixed it with some "I've seen this before" energy, fourth film she just about slayed it, and by this film she might as well be somebody's hitwoman. Though it angers me that she wasn't in the 6th film due to not feeling her pay was fair (you've starred in these movies for 27 years; you're done being the main star!), I like how they had Gale explain that it was time for her to have her happy ending. No need to keep bringing her back to save the day when it's someone else's problem now.

i love how in scream 6 Gale asks to put the killer on hold and all u hear is “wha-“
