Exactly what I was looking for. Especially when tuning and managing various scenarios, like leaning over the quad with the radio hanging from your neck...Thank you.

Brilliant! I was just thinking about investigating this so I could have a pre-arm switch since iNav doesn’t have it built in like BetaFlight. You’ve just saved me at least an hour.

Thanks. I need to try this. I had a little accident that could have been avoided with this.

Always a good bit of information and explained in a manner that even I can understand.

Useful, but I would just throttle up after disarming and put a gimbal protector on.

There is a problems in the logic of the program you share 20 seconds into the video; the reason why you see the safety issue is that the FlipFlop (Stick function) is never reset with your arming switch SA, but instead uses a completely independent switch SF. Correctly reset, the Stick function would require another impulse to be activated, and for it it would need both, SA and SH together with Thr<99. Instead, try to set V2 in L04 to SA (forward arrow), then this logic should work just perfectly and reliably, and to the best of my knowledge constitutes still the best and safest OpenTx arm switch around, without the need to use GVs. Personally, I would also swap out the switches in L01 (V1 and AND), so you hold down the momentary switch, and then flick the arm switch to activate. Give it a try and let me know if I overlook anything. Happy to share a screenshot of my working switch.

Very cool way of doing a pre arm, I've not played round with inav but I'm guessing it hasnt got pre-arm in the aux channels? Maybe that's something the inav devs could look at?

Hey Lee, I'm trying to get this to work, but for a fixed wing model. I've cut and pasted your settings into my model, nut it simply doesn't work as I wanted. I have all my quads setup for dual switch arming, but simply can't get it to work on a fixed wing! It can't be that difficult, can it? I want my fixed wing plane to arm/disarm the same as my quads, which is:
Switch F in the UP (forward) position, plus switch H in the DOWN (for 0.5 second) to ARM.
Switch F pulled to the DOWN (back) to DISARM.
This is driving me nuts!
Are fixed wing and quads really that different, when it comes to arming and disarming?

Interesting, but the result is very similar when I just set SH as pre-arm.

Have you ever had to re-arm during flight with this system?

I need something to keep me from accidentally disarming in inav with my fixed wing. I assume it will be similar?

I have a similar setup on opentx 2.2.2 that doesn't utilize the special functions. If you want I can send pictures with my configuration to you.
