Phillip Schofield leaves ITV in disgrace after lying about an affair with a younger colleague - but how did it all go wrong for the 'This Morning' star?

ITV Management knew of the "rumours" since 2019, but covered up this highly "unethical" and sordid matter to protect the "brand(s)", similar to BBC management with Saville, Harris and Glitter earlier.

Holly, knowing the above rumours about Pip which were common knowledge for years among her team, and following the guilty verdict of Pip's 54-year-old brother Tim last month, 12 year prison sentence for 11 sexual offences involving a child, took steps to protect her own brand and distanced herself from Pip.

The lying, the deflection, the feigned ignorance to limit the damage to the principals ensued.
No one in ITV management have given a fleeting thought to the young man's welfare or their legal duty of care to him.

They have spent years presenting a "wholesome" image which has proved to be duplicitous and all the while earning a fortune. Is there anything genuine about either of them?

The thing about Eamon is, by his own admission, he also knew about it all. He's baying for blood but he knew as well, so how is he any better? Talking about Thurday nights being playtime, claiming there will be records of cars sent to collect the lad and bring him to work. How does he know all that, but didnt say a word at the time?

It is so scary and I hope he has good people around him and talks to someone professional to deal with it because this is something that will stick you forever. Holly should have asked herself how many other young runners who worked on the show, were allowed up on stage to collect TV awards ...or was it just the one rumoured to be sleeping with Philip....big give away in my opinion. ....never before seen behind the camera people unless directors and producers up on stage yet this young lad was there.

Why did it take so long to call him out, mr nice guy he is not and all those that knew what this vile creature was getting up to there heads should roll, not fit for purpose . This was a show which millions of people watched everyday, it’s all the fake ness of it the hypocrisy of it all, all the top brass involved with this should be sacked . Rename the show with reputable hosts that don’t hide dirty secrets if that’s possible, because several figures in showbiz in the past all hid dirty secrets they got away with for years . Let’s have decent hosts like Eamon and Ruth who everybody likes, much better to watch than dirty Phil and holly dolly who must have been wearing blinkers and earphones not to know anything about the man, who she shared holidays with and partnered for years on the show, I don’t believe she didn’t have suspicions about him but kept quiet cos she didn’t want to ruin her reputation, well I don’t think people will want her back on the show not now

I do not for a moment believe that Holly did not know, they were supposedly the best of friends and spent their holidays together, but she had no idea?

It is all quite laughable really. He lied to his wife for decades about his sexuality and yet was loved and treated like a lost soul come home. So this, in comparison is small but indicative of a screwed up society fed like sheep by the brutal monster that has become most media.
