Phillip Schofield Boyfriend Reacts To 'This Morning' Firing Him

Phillip Schofield's alleged former boyfriend Matthew McGreevy reacts to ITV firing Phil from 'This Morning' which he hosted alongside Holly Willoughby.

They turned him into a hero for coming out when in reality he was the villain and using being gay as a shield for what he had done.

They should bring back Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes, and publicly apologise when their whistleblowing was the right thing to do.

Philip has known this young man since he was 10 years old and started mentoring him. Giving him gifts and opportunities on "This Morning" that no one else could get. Then ends up in a relationship with him. Isn't this what they call grooming ?

I think there's so much more to these allegations and poor Ruth and Eamon getting sacked, ITV owes them both a massive apology and if I was Ruth I'd sue ITV for unfair dismissal!

Well done to Ruth Langford for speaking up. It’s disgraceful how ITV treated her, and Eamon too. Philip has had his day and Holly is guilty too by association, she should also leave and the show have a fresh start.

I knew about this years ago only because I have a friend who works at ITV. It was an open secret. The only reason Philip came out live on TV was because Matthew was going to sell his story to the press, so Philip got in first!

Why has Willoughby been let off the hook, she was complicit in covering for Schofield! The full extent of Schofield's disgusting behaviour will probably never be revealed, but it wouldn't be too much of a surprise to find he's on a par with Harris and Saville Glitter etc!

This reminds me so much of the Saville, Harris, Hall & Glitter story. People knew but chose to keep quiet through fear. Ruth has the courage to speak out and was subsequently given the boot, along with the boy himself. All Schofield keeps repeating was “an unwise but legal affair”. That stinks of it being very close to the legal age which is only 16 and Phillip was in his 40’s. No one can go through life lying because it will catch up eventually.

I still can’t get my head around how his brother told him about the sexual abuse and never reported him I’ve said this for ages took the poor boy to have the courage to speak up god only knows what he suffered and his brother got 12 years says a lot

I've always thought he was not credible, something toxic about his persona, its slightly odd how these people in positions of trust and in the public eye are allowed to be abusers, it's no way coincidence surely ?

Ruth seems to be the only one who comes out of this with any decency, and she ends up getting fired for it! Holly is one of the many on the show who must of had an idea of what was going on, and the bosses there too. If not, how comes Ruth did see it and these others were bilissfully unaware, or so they all say....now.

I cant believe Philip has got away with this for so long, why do people let this happen .I hope philip gets what he deserves. My thoughts are with his wife and family who are the innocent people. He lied to them for years .

It's obvious that Schofields hand was forced. Willoughby must have know what was going on with him, but like rats leaving a sinking ship she is distancing herself as far as she can. What other stories will come out now that he's been sacked, and just how much has she helped cover by staying quite.
We shall wait and see.
