In this lesson we talk about the concept of divisibility, and go through the rules for 2,3,4,5,6,8,9,10, and 12. Divisibility by two: a number is divisible by two, if it is even. This means its final digit is a 0,2,4,6,or 8. Divisibility by three: a number is divisible by three if the sum of its digits forms a number that is divisible by three. Divisibility by four: a number is divisible by four if the final two digits of the number form a number that is divisible by four. Divisibility by five: a number is divisible by five, if its final digit is a zero, or five. Divisibility by six: a number is divisible by six, if it is divisible by both two, and three. Divisibility by eight: a number is divisible by eight, if its final three digits forms a number that is divisible by eight. Divisibility by nine: a number is divisible by nine, if the sum of its digits forms a number that is divisible by nine. Divisibility by ten: a number is divisible by ten, if its final digit is a zero. Divisibility by twelve: A number is divisible by twelve, if the number is divisible by both three and four.
