He really absolutely is a hero. He saved his whole family. If you watch some of the other videos, it is clear he was the one who got things were not right. Like the video where Ruby is talking about taking food away and he almost shouts at her she has to give them food.

The photos of that panic room gave me so much anxiety and fear. So heartbreaking that the children were keep down there…those poor kids must have been so frightened and lonely 😢 To think…the one who’s supposed to protect them from this horror is the one doing this to them! 😡

In the homesteading community it’s common to prep. Harvest right freeze dryer is on my list. Wheat berries can last for 25 years in 5 gallon buckets. I love learning from the Macs, three rivers homestead and little mountain ranch. I’m surprised so many people don’t prep or have any idea that it’s important. Definitely would enjoy those style of videos.

My advice to anyone prepping is if you have littles to make sure you have atleast 1 outfit in the next size or 2 up for them so they have something to grow into.

My understanding was that he asked the neighbor to call the police b/c HE was going to be arrested for leaving, not to report his mom and Jodi.

That house could have been a paradise for kids. Instead, it was a nightmare for them. It’s as if Jodi purposely built that “home” with torture in mind. She just had to find the right “Mother” to brainwash.

To us it doesn't look like those houses are very far away, but when you're physically emotionally and mentally exhausted that poor kid probably felt like he walked for hours to get help... Could have taken 5-10 minutes to walk but it felt like miles to him.. 😢

If you look at the listing on Zillow, there is a map below the initial description that points to house and then in the desert, next to the house it literally says, "Hell Hole."

How to prep for SHTF scenario:
Start with what you need to survive ONE DAY. Water, food, heat, shelter, etc.
Then what you need to survive TWO days. Then three. Then a week. Two weeks. 3 weeks. A month.
But start with ONE DAY.
If you can survive the first day of SHTF, you’re doing better than most.
Defensive gear is a priority as well. If you have STUFF, there will be people who will want to TAKE your stuff.
Also, have a get-home bag in your car in case you need to hoof it from work.
Get all the family on one page and have a meetup place (likely your home). Tell your family to wait there, that you all are making your way to the meetup place.
Ham radio!
Know the train track routes. When the roads are impassable, the train tracks will be safest.
Keep your unused medications, don’t flush them.
Think about tradable goods.
You can’t eat money. You can’t eat silver or gold, but those MIGHT have some tradable value. Goods are better than precious metals!
