Better: Don't talk to the police, at least without an attorney representing you present.

"Lawyer" is my answer to everything.

"I remain silent. I want an attorney. I do not consent to any searches or seizures."

These are the only things you say to cops

And that is why the framers of the constitution, in their infinite wisdom, passed the bill of rights. And that is why they passed particularly the fifth amendment.

Never under any circumstances admit to something you didn’t do.

More states need to make it illegal for police to tell lies regarding what they’ve confiscated as well as your charge or charges in the interrogation room.

As someone who has 0 legal credentials or experience, I offer this bit of wisdom on the matter: if they had any irrefutable proof (not even evidence that suggests), they wouldn't be talking to you trying to get 'your side of the story'! It would be easier that trying to hit thin air with your hand for them to get the win if they actually had anything!
Source: simple logic!

Never ever talk to the police without a lawyer

The speaker should consider this question.

🤔 Are there more innocent people in prison or more guilty people not yet brought to justice.

It's not against the law for the police to tell lies.
It's reassuring isn't it!

I have personally witnessed countless individuals being unjustly targeted by agencies such as the FBI, CIA, NSA and ATF. These agencies wield authority they should not possess under a law that has been in place since 1892. The Anti-Pinkerton Act (Sundry Civil Appropriation Act of August 5, 1892) states that an individual employed by the Pinkerton Detective Agency or similar organization may not be employed by the government of the United States or the District of Columbia. This law was enacted to prevent private security forces from becoming too powerful within our government.

Despite this clear legislation, organizations like the FBI, CIA, NSA and ATF continue to operate with impunity. Their actions often resemble those of private security forces more than public servants - a direct violation of this historic act.

The time has come for us to uphold our laws and protect our citizens from overreach by these agencies. We must demand that our government adhere to its own regulations and abolish these organizations which violate them so blatantly.

Join me in calling on Congress to enforce the Anti-Pinkerton Act fully and end these violations against our citizens' rights.

Yep. FTPOSP. There is no lower, more despicable criminal group than law enforcement in the U.S.

NEVER say anything but 1 word: "LAWYER." Once you say that magic word, if they keep trying to talk to you, gently remind them that they're violating your rights and your lawyer will be thrilled to hear of it

Never ever talk to the police, ask for a lawyer and then STFU!!!

They are not incentivized to get it right or punished for getting it wrong. Whether they close the case or not, get the right person or wrong person; the justice system/law enforcement doesn't really care much about whether they are right or wrong ironically.

As I've been saying forever, if it wears a badge and belongs to the thin blue line gang, it's garbage.

As retired sheriffs officer I’m telling you this keep your mouth shut. Name address and SSN then lawyer. If you are innocent, it’s better to sit in lock up for a few days then years. If you’re guilty let them work for it. The cops can’t make deals and they don’t. Don’t dig a hole for yourself.

Didn't work on me ... I looked the prosecutor right in the eyes and said "Your psychology bullshit isn't going to work on me" ... He didn't like that.

What should be a quest for truth has turned into preying on the desperate and uninformed. This is absolutely sad. How could anyone sleep at night after putting an innocent person in jail is beyond me. The fact that they are proud of themselves for outsmarting people who may be a little slow is pathetic. Anyone who thinks the devil is going to turn their hand red deserves society's protection, not to be falsely imprisoned.

This illustrates very boldly that you should NEVER EVER TALK to the police. Demand a lawyer and inform the officers that you are invoking your 5th amendment right to remain silent and then STFU
