Moving through spaces: Daniel Oxenhandler at TEDxChristUniversity

..at the convergence of light and sound, there lies vibration. Daniel is constantly pursuing these vibrations in all of the manifestations they make take - across geography, culture, time, and temperament. A strong believer in the multi-faceted expression of ideas, experience and perspectives, he seeks to mix and merge: transmediation. Interpolating meaning through the resonance of words, vibrations of hollowed wood, refractions of light through glass -- medium manifests itself as the message dictates. Constantly lost somewhere between an improvised impulse and a carefully laid plan. Found once more in the valleys and peaks of light and sound... These creative manifestations are being compiled under a project called freehand. - an attempt to meaningfully channel creative impulses, whatever form they may take. Outside of the pursuit of these vibrations and impulses, Daniel spends his time exploring learning and creativity through a variety of means, across culture and context - education, events, and social entrepreneurship, amongst others. He is fascinated by the dynamism of cities and the idea of building creative communities. All of these eclectic interests are currently entwined through his work building Construkt Festival - a celebration and converge of creators of all varieties. The journey continues...

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group.
