I like the white gold one. My buddy in 2003 bought a new Daytona that was the gold two-tone one with the white mother of Pearl face that had diamond baguettes at the hour marks. I’m not a big gold watch guy but this watch was beautiful. I had a stainless Sub at the time with the black face that I bought at a pawn shop in Vegas that I got a really good deal on and my buddy outdid me big time with the Daytona I just mentioned. I don’t know what the Daytona is worth now but I’m guessing somewhere around $30K. He still has the watch and I’ve been messing with him for years now to sell it to me. I know that he’s never going to sell it because it was his first really nice watch. I think that it was his first Rolex actually because I don’t remember him having a Rolex prior to that. He was a big Breitling fan in the early 2000’s for some reason. He had a nice Super Ocean and a Navitimer in the late 90’s -2000’s. I eventually sold my Sub and got a Daytona but it was a stainless black face which I got a decent deal on in 2010. I got it brand new but my buddies Two tone one I still like better. I eventually sold the Daytona in 2013 because a 1995 Porsche 911(993) came up for sale that I always wanted and I was a little short on cash to get it so I sold my Daytona. I graduated high school in 1995 and this was the last Porsche that was air cooled and I had always wanted one. The gentleman that I got it from was going through a divorce and he didn’t want to get rid of it but he had to so I got an amazing deal on it. I felt bad driving away because the guy stood in his driveway and kept looking until I could not see him in my rear view mirror anymore. I still have the car and I don’t think that I will ever sell it unless I get offered an insane amount for it or if somehow I really need to sell it because of financial circumstances. Hopefully that doesn’t happen but never say never because none of us know what the future holds for us.
