80=64+16=4^3+4^2 is the end of solution process for real numbers: a=4. The rest is easy.
By creating a new 3rd order polynomial and comparing it with the original we get
(a-4)*(A*a^2+B*a+C)=0 and 1*a^3+1*a^2+0*a-80=0
After comparing the coefficients at successive powers of the number a we get:
A=1
B=5
C=20

a=(-5+-SQRT(25-80)/2

This is not an exponential equation if the variable is in the base, not in the exponent

I like math, and I like learning math, but this kind of presentation -- to me -- is absolutely the worst. This guy gives us no clue about why he is doing any of these steps, gives us no hints about where we are going, where he is taking us. Drives me nuts. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS CHANNEL
