Top tip: A good way to get though the time wasters is to mention in the description that you will only reply to people who specifically ask something along the lines of: "when can I collect this?"
Also list the number of stock in the description.
I've given up even responding to "is this available?". Only spend time on the customer who shows intent to buy. I still get a good amount of sales and keep a bit more of my sanity 🤣 give it a shot

I’ll sell on Marketplace, but I normally take them to my work place.
Close friend of mine listed a car on there, and obviously have the address, people kept coming over and looking over the car and trying the handles, just not a fan of people knowing where I live, I’ve got a family and don’t wanna be put in that position where strangers know where I live

Selling on Facebook market place is carnage! Recently selling an iPhone and the nonsense I went through before i actually sold it was laughable! Dpd drivers bringing me money, sending it to some guys daughter in the Ivory Coast or I’ll give you £100(selling for £300) and I’ll collect it now!!

Since Nik put his video out i have had to pay out to people who have not recieved parcel yet from royal mail, they will get it says in transit then had cheek to rite a big feeback saying i did not argue with them, market place my partner does an he gets lot of idiots mesaging at all hours when they dont even want to buy it
