In week 1 of the LEC, Caps busted out the Mid ZAC against Astralis - let’s break down how it works. In lanes, Sylas’ trades revolve around forcing tight engages with his other abilities and compensating with his W healing. Zac can mitigate and win out on these trades by allowing Sylas to go in and outsustaining him, while dealing a lot of free damage by trading with his other abilities as well. This creates a state where Sylas has a lot of trouble winning sidelane, and gives a free lane to Zac, which can get prio and outscale.
