Europe is renowned for its mid laners, and though there have been times where their strength wavered there has always been another generation of great European mids to take on the mantle.

And in some ways, it feels like it has all been building up to Caps.

I just love how G2's like "Oh, we have the 2nd best midlaner in Europe, i know, we'll sign no1 and just put Perkz botlane, I mean Rekkles told him to play there last year" And it worked out. I mean the botlane meta has shifted so much lately anyway having a midlaner or toplaner there just makes more sense than having a guy who can only play Marksmen. Even Rekkles subbed himself out because he knew he had to go away to learn how to play other shit, and they subbed a toplaner in for him and still did very well.

Whenever i ave to play botlane in soloq i still just play my fav loplane picks, Kennen, Karma, Lulu, Heimerdinger, maybe even Irelia or Illaoi if the matchup isn't terrible. ADC's just suck.

coming back after the MSI win! if anybody deserves a Riot music video to himself, it's this kid. imagine the narrative! he's a game away from taking Worlds and stumbles at the last hurdle, but then he wins MSI with all of EU on his shoulders, and what does he have to say? that he wishes he could've beaten Rookie and he's still not satisfied until he can take Worlds. absolute legend.


i might be a long-time DL fan, but there's no doubt whatsoever that it's Caps who's picking up the torch in terms of western hopes for international glory. he is Best Boy and i will fight anyone who says G2 are the villains of their region ever again.
