I can't believe this worked so well. Thanks man. I thought the mp3 compression would throw it off but I just scanned through the compiled mp3 and it seems to work just fine.

Thank you very much, John Miller. This is amazing! I am rediscovering the beauty and simplicity of Command Prompt. So simple and fast, once you learn to move within directories using your copy command and before that cd and dir. You are a legend.

worked as you said … using command-prompt to merge files … thanks, john.

Thank you for this. What a great help, especially when there are so many garbage products out there, charging to do what Windows can do inherently.

Thanks John Miller! This way I have joined 29 mp3 songs in one file within seconds... This worked on Windows7 and NOT on Windows 10..

No issues with mp3 but it will only copy the first file for wav it seems.

anyways, if your like me and don’t see the open command prompt window here thing, you can just click on the bar that shows your location (to the left of the search bar) in the folder with the files and type cmd then press enter

I'm only getting one song file even though I copied all the tracks, and that one song file doesn't even play, it's posted at time 4:10, like the first song. My DOS results were exactly like yours, but it still only created one "single" track...the first song.

this is easily the best way to do this. takes a second to fuse 800 small audio files into one

after combining 115 MP3 files
in total of 04:34:51
the result file
which is also at the correct size 258mb

plays the first combined file only
when getting to the 2nd
it just displays dots
as if trying to read or something...

didnt work. Did EXACTLY what you did Win10 copy /b *.mp3 output.mp3. Its larger, check. In VLC, only the first audio mp3 file played, then it ended. In Windows Media Player it says ERROR.
