Alright, a couple months back I actually had “the forbidden pizza burn graft” a couple months ago. I was having recession of my gums that could have led to tooth loss.

After the procedure the square of my palate that was harvested actually fully grew back! It’s lowkey amazing how fast a mouth can heal! My gums are doing great and properly cover the recession 😊

It's a soft tissue graft. I worked for a Periodontist myself and did these procedures from time to time. They work more successfully with patients who had gum recession from trauma. Most of the time on their front teeth. Patients with sereve periodontitis it's not a good prognosis for the most part. But even in prefect situations, tissue grafts don't always heal successfully the first time. Sometimes a second stage procedure has to be done to get the best result. Moral of the story nothing replaces what you had already to begin with.

Had this about a month ago and it’s pretty bad and causes you a lot of trouble but if you have it always stay calm if your start bleeding and DO NOT eat anything your not supposed to!
