I love the idea of these & the direction they are going. My main concern is the wireless compatibility with regular QI charging due to the distance between the charging surface & phone because of the locking area on the cases.

Also yes a fully Water proof case would be a great way to go assuming you can still wirelessly charge with a regular QI.

I seriously think wireless only charging is the future as companies should be aiming to develop 100% waterproof phones in the future. Not to mention wireless earbuds already taking over without a need for 3.5mm jack etc.

It's not just iPhone, it's for every phone with image stabilisation. I think the vibration brakes the stabilisation system as it tries to compensate the vibration on the motorcycle and after a while overheats and breaks and the stabilisation remains permanently trying to compensate that vibration from the day it broke on bike. That's why when trying to make a photo the image moves crazy not able to focus/stabilise.

Like other comments and he says in the video, they really shouldn’t sell the mount without the vibration dampener, you will ruin your phone camera. It happened to me before they had the warning, sent an email and customer service said, you can buy a dampener. Thanks but my phone was already destroyed. This was early in 2019.

These seem nice, but the piece is outrageous for a few pieces of plastic. At almost $150 to have a phone accessible seems insane. Also, it seems a bit cumbersome to swap cases out after each ride. I’d still want static charging so I’d need to swap cases out. The cases they sell look terrible with that giant hole in the back, so switching cases is definitely a must.

I have one for my bike and car they work well although I use to curse the thing out till I got used to the phone mount.

These are the best in the market with vibration dampener IMO. The only shitty thing is the case or "female attachment" you need to get on your phone to be able to use it. I have the case personally and it's great.

These look awesome. I have a 2020zx10r, the dampener is over the mount point. I’m assuming. I hope they make something for my bike soon. Didn’t know about the iPhone issue. Great info here 👍🏾

Any phone with optical (not digital) image stabilization can be harmed by vibrations btw. Most current flagship phones have this, many older and budget models don't. Look up your phone to see whether you need the anti vibe attachment.

Just for info, the Quadlock system is compatible with the Ram Mount arms etc so there's more mounting options.

The case is tough (I have a habit of dropping my phone) and not much bigger on the back than a normal tough case.

Wireless charging is not a problem with the case on. I have a Samsung S21 and use the Samsung wireless charging stand without needing to take the case off.

I really like my Quad Lock products for both my bicycle and motorcycle. Too bad about the vibration damper being $26 on its own. Should just be included with EVERY single mount. Period. Selling it by itself for so GD much is super anti-consumer. It's less than $3 of poorly molded plastic. Just give them away already.

Until Quad lock covers all the samsung sizes including the 'A' I will say they suck!!!! whats the point? The cheesy adhesive fix is not an option. Now Im stuck with a fancy base that is pointless because they dont make a case for my A12 or A13 or any 'A' series

Revzilla you shouldn’t be promoting this crap as the quad lock does not work on Harley Davidson. I fitted a the anti vibration kit on my low rider st and mounted a new I phone on it and now my camera doesn’t work 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
