FYI, this gesture is an actual proposal that was said should be done towards extraterrestrial beings. This lets them know we are intelligent by showing them we know about math and such due to the knowledge about right triangles. The actual pose of the hunter making a 90 degree gesture shows him "holding" a triangle in his hands, a symbolic showing of him having a grasp on the concept.

If you are using the cane, be sure to (non-whip) R2 the Brainsuckers for tons of damage and relatively safe distance (they take more damage from thrust attacks than anything)

Lol, I like how you introduce the area before the statue with nonchalance, like: “Go here, a couple of enemies here, a couple of enemies there”. That’s actually one of the worst difficult areas in the game. People will die there, a lot.

If you use this gesture on the doll in the hunters dream, she will clap for you. This is the only other interaction for this gesture I am aware of, although you must wait till your arm positions move, just like with mother brain.

Just want to say is thanks for making the video to make finding the gesture much easier than just random explore. I found it despite me losing almost sixteen or eighteen insight to get it.

I heard the purpose of the gesture was to show that we understand right-angles and there for have an understanding of mathematics and geometry so, it shows other creatures or aliens that we have intelligence. "Make contact" (dunno how true this is but, I like the idea.)
