Back in 2008, my dad bought me a Prada phone, made by LG. Released in 2007, it was the first phone with a capacitive touch screen, beating the iPhone to the market by a few months.

The reason WHY it fits like a turd, is because the pouch has those elastic bits on the side and elastic? Does not last 5 years if you're lucky. In use its even less.If its cheaper elastic to boot then no, it won't last you long. So the elastic on the sides of that pouch have gone to Plastic Heaven. They'v left this plane of mortals. Fun little story - I worked for Vodafone during the Razr era. When the bright pink version came out, one of the trade magazines that was sent to our store had a "how to make a pink Razr" article, which basically had a cut out template and where to buy pink spray paint from. The phone really was the joke of the industry by that point, having been on the market for many years.

the thing that really depresses me about all these old still perfectly functional phones is that even though they are perfectly functional and valid, they are all just a pile of e-waste because the telecom companies sunset the networks they worked on. so even if someone wanted to go back to using an old phone like this you would literally be unable to use it because it's no longer supported.
