I was 16 years old when I watched the band at the Apollo Glasgow in 1976 I can only say it was like a brick hitting me in the face, the whole place erupted and the balcony was moving up and down visibly, I never missed a concert locally for the next 40 years, the material you have now discovered will be never-ending :)

Roll over lay down is such a solid Quo tune! No one ever famous has covered this, because they can't!

Being in the U.S. I didn't know the Quo until about a year ago. I think they're the BEST band EVER! I wish I could have found them earlier! 🇺🇸

Over 50 Quo gigs under my belt between 1980 and 2013, including four nights in a row at Hammersmith Odeon in 1983. There never was a tighter band than the mighty Quo.

Finally someone who understands that "simplicity" does not mean easy to play! I am a very hardcore Status Quo fan, and their early work 1970 to 1976 is my favourite, they were superbly brilliant! Nice vid btw :)

I'm one of the minority Americans who have always loved Quo. Going back to the mid seventies. Rick Parfitt one of the greatest rhythm guitarist of all time.

Status Quo is seriously underrated. I fell in love with their music in the 70s with class albums like Quo, Hello and On The Level. They still are really good. Keep up the excellent work, Fil!

Quo are the best ever rock band live. Saw Queen in 1977 and they were close 2nd. Have seen about 40 international acts, but Quo live were the best. The new line up since Rick passed away is also very good. Malone is a great addition.

Solid! I'd say absolutely sensational opening, look at the crowd, the Quo engine room in full flight! In my opinion one of the greatest bands of all time deserved so much more success in the US, so underrated and just again look at the crowd look at the energy and vibe, audience just go off from start to finish. It's an experience to see them live but also an absolute pleasure.

I've seen a lot of rock bands live, a lot of the greatest 'technical' guitarists from Beck to Govan, but one of my fondest memories is waiting for the Quo show to start as they teased the opening notes and then Rick tore the place apart hammering out the riff to Caroline, the crowd went absolutely mental.

I saw them on this tour 1984. I was 14 and it was my first ever gig. They started with Caroline, and the lights hit the audience - it was loud as hell, and one of the most exciting moments of my life. I've moved on of course, but will always have a soft spot for Quo. RIP Rick🌴
