The ancient tradition of The Kabbalah has been called Jewish Gnosticism. It is almost impossible to understand Gnosticism without understanding The Kabbalah. Thus, we begin our preliminary odyssey into the mystical domains of Judaism, as well as Sophian Gnosticism, a centuries-old tradition just now being revealed to the public at large.

Astral Guest: Tau Malachi, author of 'Gnosis of The Cosmic Christ: A Gnostic Christian Kabbalah' & 'Living Gnosis: A Practical Guide to Gnostic Christianity', as well as Bishop of Ecclesia Pistis Sophia.

I wouldn't call non-dualists Gnostics. If Pistis Sophia is one of the main scriptures of these Sophians, the demiurge in Pistis Sophia is named Adamas. If the Gospel of Thomas is one of the main scriptures of these Sophians, this world is described as a "dead corpse" (i.e. "evil") by the Gospel of Thomas.

Kabbalah is much older than Judaism, going back to Sumer and Babylon and is where the Hebrews received the'Flaming Alphabet' (alpha/beth) .

Malachi is an interesting personality. He has written more than four books on his lineage of the Sophian Gnostic Tradition, local to California. He claims the Tradition has its origins in the 17th century Enlightenment era while alluding to a foundation, practices and rituals dating back much earlier.

Tau Malachi presents a Sophian philosophy and Spirituality that he openly discloses to draw from Rosicrusians, Knights Templars, and Kabbalah.

Malachi's books are a fascinating read for beginning practitioners in the Way (whichever Way, Path, or Journey One is on AND Seeking). His insights and experiences are likewise supplementary to an adept well versed in both, internal and external, experiences of the Divine. While being knowledgeable and respecting of many Eastern traditions, Tau Malachi is thoroughly Christian-- Christian Kabbalist.

You can find his books in the Religion/Gnosticism/Kabbalah section of the bookstore. You can evaluate his teachings first hand, by direct contact and experience with his teachings (book, sermon, conversation) and evaluate them by this experiential knowledge (gnosis). This is better than positive and negative reviews which may be dissimilar to your views and insincere from someone's Ego.

I enjoyed your conversation with Tau Malachi as I enjoy all your shows, but I read the Gnostic Gospel of St. Thomas & didn't find it a very enlightened book. Many times I read his interpretation of a passage & said to myself, "no, that's definitely NOT what that means". If you get the opportunity, Rabbi David Cooper kicks ass. "God is a verb" awesome book.

But here he is very lucid, this is odd to me. Either Miguel is just very good at elevating the conversation (a distinct possibility) Or sometimes people write bringing assumptions about who is reading to their writing & intentionally newbie it up idk. Maybe editors kill it. I'll read his other stuff - but I'm checking the library 1st.
