It’s beautiful to see how much you’ve improved, Chloe, you never fail to amaze with your cardboard ships. The fact that you’ve developed a method to create a pre-made break in the ship is very interesting, and I’m glad to see that it worked so well!

The passengers aren’t scared of the ship until they hear the name “cowgirlchloe”. That’s what strikes fear on the whole ship

I've been watching your videos since like 2nd grade. I'm in high school now and still get goosebumps every time you upload

Amazingly done!! The funnels falling and the ship splitting was brilliant!! I also liked how the stern is pulled under by the keel.

I can't really say you get carried away with too much detail as it has become the signature of your style. From the pre-cut hull at the expansion joint... the necessary evil of any ship of size to the introduction of the lifeboats complete with their davits to the installment of the interior decks.
Two things about the interior decks, I bet they weren't easy to install and they help control the angle and speed of the sinking.
But, the pièce de résistance, the entendre of the christened name of the ship. Carboard is considered a form of stationary product, while at the same time when the unfortunate ship finishes it's journey... it isn't moving anymore.

Release from: Cardboardian Transportation and Safety Board, Maritime Division (CTSB-M)
Date: 30 JUN 2022
SUBJ: Loss of SS Stationery of the Seas (Inc # 22-0024)

The CTSB-M was contacted by the Nation of cardboardia and the Cardboardian Cruise Lines regarding the loss of the newest liner, SS Stationery of the Seas in the Cardboardian Sea. This is a preliminary report and subjective at this time, as there are only 6 known survivors.

At approximately 1400 hours, several local maritime stations received a distress call from the SS Stationery of the Seas, a cardboardian flagged vessel of some 75000 gross tons. Ship's Captain gave his position and had indicated that there was an explosion in the port side forward cargo hold and that she began taking on water. When asked if he needed assistance, the last message received back was that "...we're holding our own."

Further attempts at communication were unsuccessful and rescue vessels were dispatched to the last known location. Vessels were on scene within an hour and no sign of the ship was found, other than some debris. It was initially thought that Stationery had suffered a communications failure, but managed to begin steaming again under her own power. A search was conducted and 6 persons were rescued from the water. All six reported that the vessel sank within minutes after suffering a catastrophic break up reminiscent of Titanic over 110 years ago. One survivor, on a jetski registered to the vessel (r, and ecreationally rented), supplied the CTSB-M with the only known footage of the disaster (See Jensen footage).

Footage opens with the ship listing heavily to port with a bow down attitude, consistent with initial reports of a port side hold explosion. At 0:36, both #2 and #4 funnels fail and the ship begins to suffer a series of sounds indicating severe metal fatigue and imminent failure. At 1:00, the number 3 funnel fails and at 1:14, a deafening series of internal explosions cause the ships experior hull to completely separate at midline, from Promenade (top deck) to the hull bottom. At 1:28 the hull begins to completely separate spilling contents and passengers into the sea. The stern section, approximately, the back half of the ship is dragged under the surface in seconds, taking with it in the suction most of the survivors dumped into the sea. The six survivors are thought to have suvived only because the rear half of the ship was dragged under so quickly that suction simply was not in play away from the hull.

Initial impressions are puzzling. Initial damage did not appear to cause sufficient damage to the ship to cause it to sink. Stationery was designed to float with up to 5 of her 18 compartments flooded and had the newest watertight compartments, to include manual safeties, installed in the wake of the recent Opulence and Imbecilic sinkings.

Of particular concern is one passenger, a certified master of a sailing ship, indicated a noise he simply described as an "...internal rumbling..." followed by a "...strange vibration and kinda twisting/torquing type motion..." whereupon the power completely and totally went out." (see Lightoller interview). Mr. lighttoller was on the stern fan deck when the last thing he remembers was being flung from the deck as the rear half upended and sank.

Upon cursory review of the ship's recentrepair, retrofit and sea trials, it was discovered that the ship had been retrofitted to replace the older paired boiler system used commonly on Cardboardian vessels because of the new fuel oils now being used in modern ships. This is believed to be the cause of the loss of the SS Imbecilic less than a month ago, where the new fuel oils detonated and destroyed the ship in a conflagration and leaving only 24 survivors (see Imbecilic incident). The replacement of already installed system would require the opening of the hull along the midline to remove and replace the boilers with the new direct injection systems and the ventilation system.

With this information, CTSB-M will focus one line of effort on determining if the original hold explosion may have sent high frequency vibrations through the hull and possibly rupturing any of the new connections along the midline. The fuel composition is known to be mildly reactive with seawater (to prevent ecological disasters if spilled) and must be pumped under high pressure into the combustion system for the ship. CTSB-M believes it is possible that ruptures in the fuel lines may have aerosolized the fuel and a subsequent ignition eliminated the power grid and caused the midline hull fracture along the repair line. The internal explosions may have caused the failure of the ship's internal structure aft the midline resulting in the extremely rapid sinking of the stern half.

CTSB-M stresses that this is preliminary only, as evidence and reports are still coming in.

I have a trick for planning out ship break ups. I cut the ship where I wanted to break then I tape perforated tissue paper on the inside so that it’s enough to hold the ship afloat but once it hits water it begins to break up… It has worked pretty well so far.
