Had switched to Edge 4-5 years ago. Not changing anytime soon. It's literally fabulous, all the whilst consuming such less resources. And does not lag or stutter.

Another thing you can do is use Chrome Beta versions. You get the feature close to the search bar with a button called "Enable featured experiments". You also get tab scrolling and tab group save and sync feature. Still a good video.

Pretty cool, personally I use Firefox. I switched from chrome ----> Brave Edge Firefox. It seems like chrome pretty much does everything, I cannot really say anything bad except it used alot more resources at the time when I had a 4GB laptop. Brave is pretty fast and is good with its shield blocker thing, but some websites couldn't load for me, even with the brave shield down so I switched. I think Edge is a bit better than Chrome because it was built with Windows in mind, I changed it because I didn't like the UI as much. It felt bloated with too many unnecessary things, plus Edge on Iphone really didn't do well. I switched to FireFox because when I tried Linux for a couple of weeks. I enjoyed the installed FireFox it had on Ubuntu and I think that FireFox is a glorified Chrome. I changed swapped my laptop with a 32GB RAM

Still no ability to hide/remove side panel. Well played Google. All I want is a minimalist and fast browser.

3:38 - 3:55 I have done the steps (described in this video) successfully. I don't have the issue (not able to resize the window at the top) described here. That means, i can also resize the window at the top, as well as the left, right and bottom.

Hey Which laptop or Pc are you using? Also Can you mention Which Chrome theme are you using? Like black and blue?

They have to catch the same grey on new design because it looks more like the green but the pervious grey is way better, except of it, good new design

Looks good but still no vertical tabs, which is the main reason I switched entirely to Edge. It's SO much better than horizontal tabs.

Just like how I never plan to upgrade to Windows 11, I will never use this new UI. Got this update a couple months ago, was on by default, hated it. Luckily, setting the options you showed to Disabled brings the old interface back, which is nice
