ZTE's gamer smartphone is one of the first handsets to launch globally with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and that beefcake chipset, plus the excellent ICE cooling setup, means gaming is smooth and satisfying. Genshin Impact played with a perfect frame rate, even when maxed out. Call of Duty Mobile, PubG and other competitive online games also run well on the Red Magic 8 Pro, with a full-view experience. Don't hear many reviewers talk about the design of this phone, yet in my eyes it looks stunning! The monolithic shape, combined with the minimum bezel on the front, no camera cutout, and a simple rear end scream good design. Oh, and finally a phone that doesn't showcase the cameras on an ugly-looking bump. It looks futuristic, yet classy. Kudos to ZTE!

Wow! The front design reminds me of the original Sharp Aquos Crystal which was released way back around 2014. It had an edge to edge screen top and sides but a big chin. I love these boxy designs with edge to edge.

I'm not into gaming phones personally but I can't help but appreciate the Red Magic Pro8 since its seeks to be disruptive and stands out in the sea of bland phones. I really appreciate ZTE/Nubia making this phone and being creative with the design and experience.

Cameras are always a gaming phone's achilles heel. I wish they would put better tech in cameras so its a well rounded device for a primary phone.

Sounds like it'll play anything you want for years to come. No need to get a more expensive gaming phone really. I'm definitely considering getting this. Warzone Mobile is going to be a beast to play and I need a beast phone. This sounds like it'll do the job.

9:48 fax. My phone has a ceramic bcak which dissipates heat a bit too well so I purposefully max out graphics while gaming to give me a bit of warmth lol 😂 😂 😂

The shape of the screen, hidden front camera, battery power etc. are very good. It makes sense that it's not waterproof because it has a fan, but I still prefer my phone to be waterproof. And what I don't understand is why companies gradually stop putting sdcard support. OK We have moved to cloud storage. Please don't remove the features we like and make a new phone.
