It's design sells it for me (matte version). It's awesome, no dumb hole-punch or cutout cameras - just a beautiful, clean screen. And it's sleek rectangular form is perfect(+ it has a nuclear reactor under the hood). Love it!

I'm not much of a smartphone gamer, but I'm a sucker for uninterrupted, notchless displays, headphone jacks and high refresh rates. As of now, there are only 38 phones in the world with these 3 basic features, and only ONE with the aforementioned features coupled with a screen-to-body ratio nearing 90% - yep, it's this baby thanks to its under-display selfie cam.
And to top it all off, this beast costs half the price of most flagships out there, just 650EU. Thank God I waited out the whole ugly notch mania and kept my dear OnePlus 5T for whole 5 years. OIS on Redmagic's main camera would've been appreciated but hey, nothing is perfect in this world.


GG Redmagic, you've made one beauty of a phone for a sane price. Compared to most overpriced junk out there, this one is a keeper for sure. I can't wait to see what Redmagic has in store for us in the future. A non-gamer phone having the same beautiful screen and some cool features like OIS and IP68, + a bit more emphasis on the cameras will blow most phones out of the water.

I'm happy after 23 hours off usage. Have been able to play pubg for 2-3 hours and it's so smooth that a have to adjust some in game settings. Brightness is way better now, my old one was the Redmagic 5G, big difference 👍👏👏👏

Happy with my Redmagic 7S Pro (Mercury Version) so far. Not interested in an upgrade since the 7S Pro is still relevant and powerful.

I like the design much more on the 7 series too. "- Simple and futuristic design" is my main and only problem with the Redmagic 8 Pro.

The edged, rectangular corners giving it a more boxed shape is nice but the actual backplate and plain safe colors (essentially two types of black) is what makes me not in a rush to get this.

If Team Red releases a Redmagic 8S Pro with the Pulsar color scheme from the standard Redmagic 7 I'm going to purchase that no questions.

Hope they gonna start improving on the cooling system... I noticed having the fan on doesnt help at all with cooling when playing a game. I feel like It does help with charging at high speeds tho. I have the 5 and the 7 and they both overheat really fast. But good luck redmagic I'm rooting for you, hopefully the 8 will be cooler 😎
