Correction. At minute 12:30 I said that the private key was cracked in 30 minutes. It was 30 hours! Not minutes!

Very informative. I think tangem is doing something a step further than other hardware wallets. No need to keep the 24 words hidden somewhere where if someone finds it, then you’re in danger. If someone finds one card, they can’t do anything. Also I tried using my tangem card on another phone, pretending I lost my phone and card, so on another phone, card and password opened my wallet like it was nothing. So easy! I love tangem!

Tangem is NOT trash

The seed phrase and private keys are not in the app. They are the in the chip inside the cards.

I’m a fan of Tangem. Been using a month now and find it convenient while safer than a seed phase system. I travel a lot and love the portability of the card.

My only concern is the recent Wallet Connect issue which has restricted me accessing certain DApps. Any comments on this Malanie? Thanks yet another informative video.

I totally disagree. I love the Tangem wallets. Very secure, as long as you keep the cards secure in different locations. Very easy to use. Good support, as I've used them a few times. I use their multicurrency cards and notes. All good.

Be aware that anyone who can get access to two of your Tangem Cards is able to get access to your assets. Having two cards and using the recovery option you can restore the wallet and set a new pin/password, even though you don't know the original pin/passport. That's why they "recommend" to keep catrts separately.

Very high BTC transfer fees compared to other wallets. $14 to $20 per transfer.

🤦🏻‍♂️actually the seed phrase is on the card. It’s brilliant. It’s supposed to keep your seed phrase undiscovered from others and from you to forget😂. Just take care of your cards.

Agree owner does NOT have secret phrase!! They say it’s built into the chip. Well does the company have the secret phrase? And drain your crypto later date? No way!

Well the cards are the single point of failure. You can't know the entroy that was used to generate your private keys. If you lose all cards you are out of luck. The firmware on the card is not open source.
