There are multiple videos covering the tangem hardware wallet here on youtube, and the majority of them are very positive. I wanted to adress this and answer if tangem hardware wallet really is that good.

The tangem wallet is a hardware wallet for your cryptocurrencies. You can use a hardware wallet if you want to stay a little bit more protected. What sets hardware wallets apart from normal "hot wallets" (example exodus, metamask) is that your private key, to access your cryptocurrencies, is stored OFFLINE on the hardware wallet. This makes it harder for hackers to reach your cryptocurrencies, without your concent.

The Tangem wallet supports the majority of bigger cryptocurrencies, but even smaller ones like Kaspa.

Don’t have a problem with the wallet itself, my beef is the outrageous fees for transfers from exchange to wallet and back. For Australians, there is NO tax deduction for fees incurred. It’s clear the government is no fan of self storage.

I like the 3 card set up idea but it never hurts to also have a seed phase just in case. There is never a reason for anyone to ever see that phrase so lock it up and it is safe to have.

Using a sentence as a password with spaces and punctuation can increase the difficulty equivalent to a 12 word seed. And it's much easier to remember or you can use a quote from a book and leave your loved ones the book, page, and line number and its easy to transmit.

Seed phrase is always better, since if you lose the cards setup without seed phrase then you literally lost your money.

Why is nobody talking about the obvious? The fact that you can only generate one wallet address and that is the address you use for every transaction. The privacy behind that is not existent.

I ordered the tandem wallet. I will not be using the seed phrase. Three cards stored securely should do it. I also have 3 ledgers just in case the seed phrases disappears. I also have two bitfi wallets. Also have a Partridge in a pear tree. Maybe I need three of those damned ole partridges.

Hi anyone experience issues when buying tangem in usa? I tried with card but it declined...
Not sure if I nee vpn or since they're based in swiss I had success with trezor no problems. Would sending crypto instead sold this or no? Thanks

Liked the ide, but the Software is oversimplified. Not so much featurea and sometimes bugges. Also the software is the only way to access the asset.

As i m only getting Receive, Send, Swap options, where is the buy option buddy?
Btw it's worthy watching your video, i loved what you said that its like a Hot Wallet but during every single transactions we need to tap the card in order to confirm the transaction & it get confirmed also becoz the card has a inbuilt private keys, which gives access to it.

I think I can use the card in my daily life regardless of the seed phrase (the 12 words are really a last resort, written down separately and kept in a bank safe). My question is, if I choose the seed phrase option, will it prevent me from using other features of tangem?

Even though the app needs the key through the card to give access to the coins, dont you feel safer when your big bags are in a cold wallet which is away from mobile phones and internet? Or these are just my fears?
