How to make RABBIT STICKS the easy way | Survival Hunting Boomerangs

The rabbit stick is more powerful than it looks. It's power comes from how fast it spins through the air, not how quickly it gets to the target. Once I realized that, I started to get a lot better at throwing them. I'm always surprised at how far they can fly when carved correctly. In my region, Juniper is a good choice and was used historically by the local indigenous tribes. Its not a very dense wood, but dense enough, and rocky mountain juniper and utah juniper have a tendency to grow J or C shaped branches, so its pretty easy to find the right shape for rabbit sticks. Thanks for watching, and try making your own!

Thus sounds like a lot of fun to practice with, sort of like frisbee with a purpose! Thanks!

Love it brother keep up the good work. A wealth of survival knowledge is golden these days. If the USA collapsed there would only be a few of us that survived 10 years.

Interesting video. Next time in in the woods I'll be looking for dead oak or hickory to fiddle around with. It's going to be a fun exercise. Thanks.

The curve to the right at 10:02 is probably just because you are throwing forehand with your wrist turned out (think thumb down). This happens a lot with frisbees, but i bet the rabbit stick is hard to keep level due to leverage in the hand

Boxelder worked fine. I used firewood, uncarved.

I am sorry that you got bullied in your short. Trust me, they are stupid, but this video is very nice. Love it

Hi Seth, I’m impressed with your skills. Do you ever use firearms for hunting? Just out of curiosity

Great video. Looks like it’s time for me to go make another one with my kids. How did you determine It was the throwing handle that made the throwing stick fly wobble?👍👍👍 enjoy your videos. Keep up the good work.
