That is called Aiding and Abetting.
Not to mention evidence tampering and obstruction.

The world watched with disbelief and grief as this violence unfolded. Their behavior then and now is despicable.

Johnson's tirade against free speech is just as concerning as his spoken desire to protect criminals.

If I did the crap that these politicians are doing I would be sitting in a cell these people are disgusting 🤮

If they didn't do anything wrong they wouldn't *_need_* to have their faces blurred

He is freely admitting that he is altering and seizing evidence. This is insane.

Johnson should never be allowed to run for re-election for his part in the insurrection.

"We have to blur the faces of criminals so they won't be charged with crimes." The definition of obstruction of justice.

Is this not another example of an elected public officer defying his oath to the constitution & giving aid and comfort to those that engaged in insurrection?

They claim they are releasing the footage to want to make it transparent. But they are also going to blur and alter the footage. Which then doesn't make it transparent. As well he's openly admitting to commit crimes. He should be charged

When Johnson openly said he was blurring the faces so that the justice department couldn't "retaliate" (funny word for prosecuting criminals) against people who invaded the My jaw dropped.
He will end up being prosecuted for obstructing justice and rightfully so. He totally admitted it right there.

This is utterly crazy if I were to try and protect a criminal hide them or in any way aid a criminal I would be charged with a crime

And more importantly, it would prohibit the public from helping the FBI from finding these criminals.

He needs to be thrown out of the Speakership immediately.

Gee, I remember when hindering an investigation was against the law...

WHO says, as we supposedly should know, that WE have to blurr their faces so they won’t be retaliated against or be PROSECUTED? THIS MAN IS A DANGER! He MUST GO!!!

How can someone in such a high position say he rules by the Bible, what justice will the citizens that don't believe in the Bible receive? One more lier hiding behind the religion, no more separation of church and state?

"We cant release the video unredacted because our people will get arrested" is quite the admission.

Holy cow!! How is this not prosecutable? This is such a blatant example of Mike Johnson as part of the insurection itself.

I believe they call that obstruction and harboring a fugitive.
