These don't work like the combo locks on my school locker I had. Thanks for the help. We just had to turn right once to one number, left once to another number, and finally right again to the last number. I did not know about the 4321 combination.

I ordered my safe today. Was still stuck on should i get a mechanical or securam lock. I went with the mechanical. Reading so much negative stuff about digital locks really bothered meI. have a week to change my mind. What do you think?

Repairs are unreasonable and not possible in most areas. Mechanical lock will fail, service line is just a guided instruction on this video. Save money for something better and be patient.

Don't waste your time on a mechanical lock. Works maybe 1of25and that wasn't just me, my dad and brother about the same.

I've been locked out of my safe for the longest time the instructions said 4 right 3left 2 right 1 left and it was the opposite!

One option that I use is to set the combo, turn the dial slowly to 0 and lock it with the key. Then all you need to do is unlock it with the key and turn clockwise to 87 and it unlocks. This way you don't have to use the combination to unlock and open it every time...but you do need the key.
