Hey guys, it's Charlotte Dobre here and in this video, we're going to be talking about some people who got served a slice of humble pie.

We all know that feeling of thinking we're better than someone else or that we're invincible, but sometimes life has a way of bringing us back down to reality. In this video, we'll be taking a look at some people who thought they were untouchable, but ended up getting a reality check that they weren't expecting.

From celebrities to regular people, these individuals got a slice of humble pie in a variety of ways. Some were caught in scandals, some had their egos shattered, and others faced setbacks that they never thought they would experience.

But the important thing is that they learned from their experiences and were able to grow as individuals. We'll be discussing some of the lessons that we can all learn from these stories and how we can avoid making the same mistakes that these individuals did.

So if you've ever felt like you were on top of the world or invincible, this video is for you. Get ready to hear some humbling stories that will make you think twice about your own life.

Hi, I'm Charlotte Dobre. I'm an actor, reactor, singer and sometimes (not really) comedian. On this channel I do reactions, commentary and occasionally I make a joke or two. I love poking fun at social media, weddings, entitled people, tiktok and OF COURSE petty people. I upload daily, usually 7 days a week, unless life gets crazy or I get lazy. Come hang out, it's a good time.

1st story: Uh, no. He didn’t dine and dash. And why would he pay his portion of the bill? His date very clearly said put it all on one tab — he correctly assumed she was paying the bill.

Easy peasy.

The girl with the wristband really had the AUDACITY to keep trying her luck going in and out. If I was able to sneak in somewhere like that you best believe I’m not leaving again until it’s over 😂

The rule my mother told me (and I still use even when its just friends going someone offers to treat (friend, acquaintance, boyfriend etc) let them order order something of the same or lesser value.
This has never steered me wrong!

That guy in the first story is marriage material. That he went back to check because he cared about doing the right thing in the end...admirable.

I taught my daughter to split the bill the first 3 dates. If she still liked him then he could pay on the 4th. That way, if red flags started to show up early on a man couldn't claim she owed him a damn thing. This lesson has served her well.

As an ex-server I don't usually advocate for dining and dashing, but in the first guy's case, I will allow it. Especially after hearing the end! Holy audacity!

As someone who works at a hibachi restaurant I support the guy because I’ve seen people take advantage of people like him. It’s honestly very sad to see honestly

A group of friends came in and expected a girl to pay for ALL of them after coming in a half hour late to her birthday dinner. She ordered vegetables and they all ordered filet with seafood with sushi as apps saying since it’s her birthday it’s her job to treat them. We noticed when she came up to pay she was in near tears. So we comped her meal (it was $16), gave her a birthday dessert to go since she wanted to leave and left her ‘friends’ with the bill.

I don't even date but this first story is definitely making me take note that if someone ever shows up with a friend and asks if it's alright, Im starting the meeting off with "yeah sure as long as they pay for themselves no problem". Right out the gate. I'm not paying for your friends too mate, I hypothetically planned to pay for TWO people not Three 🤣

8:44 when I was a teen I was the maid in a play so I wore my hair in a low bun. Years later I was looking back at the cast photo with my sister who was also in the play. I pointed at myself in the picture and asked, “who was that boy?” I was 100% serious😂 I never wear my hair up anymore.

My sister was always late, always. So I told her my wedding ceremony was an hour earlier than it was. She actually got to the venue early, so she had to wait almost two hours for me to arrive. She went to complain but I said that now she knew ow we all felt with her being late to everything. She was humbled and started getting closer to being on time.

First guy- if I’m on a first date and they show up with another person, I’m out at that point. Straight up- I’m not dealing with that. There will never be a healthy result from a date where someone shows up with an additional uninvited person. One way or another, the result will be bad.

Let's not forget that in the times of Jane Austin, most beautiful women were often called handsome. Mostly the young got called pretty. Passable was probably their version of our handsome.

2:00 She offered to pay by putting it all onto one tab. The person who gives instructions to how things are to get paid are the people who pay.

That man on the beach was observing and becoming self aware. A lot of people aren't that self aware that other people do different things and live different lives and get mad when other people don't live the lives they live. He most definitely was humbled.

I had a friend in college that I started telling her something started 2 hours before it actually started because she was ALWAYS running 2 hours behind. It worked pretty well and she had a good sense of humor about it when she figured it out. She also started showing up much closer to the starting time

When she said she brought a friend he should have told her, "I see you already have a date, so I'll be going."

2:41 my dad tried to get me to do this with a guy I was not interested in...I was like "Food is not good enough for me to get through a situation I don't want to be in. I'm an Introvert, Dad; not stupid."

I'm 66 and I always get a kick outta your videos! Keep em coming!! Honestly, it's so nice to see someone who's not putting on makeup while speaking, (wtf) or sitting in a car (more wtf's). I wear a pony at home alone, but wouldn't be caught in public like that!
