Thank you for writing the Hiragana kana above the Kanji characters. I can read everything in Hiragana and Katakana, just ordered my first book of Kanji characters. It is called "Kanji Look and Learn. Has 512 Kanji characters to begin with on a rudimentary level. I know 512 is nothing compared to 5000 kanji characters but I am so ready and elated to study Kanji!!!
Also thank you for your sentences and phrases.
せんせい, ありがと ございます! まったで! (hope I spelled that right, trying to say: matta to de) ^.^ 🙏🏽

Thank you for this, it is very helpful. One question though, other sources I have used pronounce the "g" sound differently. You seem to pronounce it "ng" (albeit with the "n" somewhat swallowed). Is this a particular accent / dialect or is it standard throughout Japan?

Thank you very much. But, I think, it would be 1000 times better (for understanding) if there was English sentence first and than Japanese translation.
