This Royals team was so amazing to watch. Not the hardest hitters or the most explosive team, but damn did they just get hit after hit after hit.

Momentum was the name of the game in 2015 Kansas City.

I think a key moment in this game was the bottom of the 6th inning. Hosmer's error gave the Mets a bases loaded no out situation and it looked like the Royals were reeling and about to be overwhelmed. However, Volquez kept his cool and got out of it with only one run scored, which really boded well for the Royals. It could have easily been the turning point where the Mets scored 3 or 4 runs, but Volquez made some great pitches. The 9th inning was spectacular, one of the most exciting I've watched and witnessed.

Guys they call it "NYN" Abbreviated for: "New York National", as in National League. The Yankees are sometimes: " NYA", to abbreviate "New York American". Cardinals are " SLN", Dodgers are "LAN", And the angels stay the same at "LAA".

I watched the Royals win the World Series in 1985 when I was 26 years old. Now after seeing them win the World Series again in 2015, and not only that, but the quality of the games was outstanding. I will probably never see another World Series win by my Royals in this lifetime, but I've seen 2 Chiefs Super Bowl wins & 2 Kansas City Royals wins. I'm a pretty lucky fan I guess 💓

It is August 16, 2022. I just watched the last at bat in the game. I still get teary eyed. Man, I love this team. I can't wait to get back to the World Series.

Longtime Royals fan here..this was a great series funny thing after KC won I find myself really respecting and liking the Mets and their fans. But nope, NEVER the Yankees.

As a Royals fan... and having remembered watching this game live. I didn't realize how appreciative the Mets fans were of Harvey's effort (2:46:18) even tho he gave up a run trying to be a hero for the city. Didn't remember him getting the standing ovation he deserved even tho fighting to go back in prob costed them the game to an extent. He was extremely impressive up until the end. At the time, I respected him for trying bc I would've wanted to do the same thing if I was him... even tho his managers knew he was rolling the dice... and that it could backfire (and ultimately did).
