Here’s what happened. Mammals went to the funeral, pretending to be sad.

Take a moment to imagine how would it felt to be there when the asteroid hit, most terrifying experience that I can think of. it would felt like an outer body experience, definitely a crazy time to be alive, I can't imagine the suffering that those creatures endured. Awesome video Anton.

Of all the days in the 4.5B year history of the planet, this is the day that fascinates me most.

I just bought my wonderful person shirt with the black hole. I've obsessed with that print. Thought about it atleast once a week. I finally purchased it because I see you have a new design! I really love the black hole print. Please keep it. Its iconic to your channel.

Ps. I need to listen to your voice tell me about space so I can fall asleep happy.

The craziest thing about the strike is that the ejecta plume went halfway to the moon before falling back to earth.

I like how you avoided pronouncing "Chicxulub" crater throughout the video :D

How you manage to also include so many clips, photos etc must take editing so much work, never mind the story you tell us every day that enlightens us all. Anton is indeed a "wonderful" person

I don't recall the exact location, but there is someplace in the southern United States where they found a massive sand deposit at an inland site associated with the iridium layer. That alone pretty much locked down that there was a giant tsunami.

Hi Anton! I truly enjoy and get so much from the content you provide! I have loved science for decades and you make it sooo understandable! I had to shake my head when you mentioned that there isn't a lot of interest in creating protocols to address another possible space object collision. Hopefully, there really is work being done but we don't know it yet.Blessings!

I wish Anton had mentioned that the tsunami was assisted in it's northward trek by the Western Interior Seaway - a huge body of water that started in the Gulf of Mexico, ran through Texas and stretched all the way into Canada. 66 million years ago the North American continent did not look much like it looks today...
