"have you ever had your video removed and never knew why?"
isnt it obvious that we SHOULD know why they got removed instead of having to watch this video?...

Deleted the video and even after many trials they couldn't explain why.

YouTube is doing their best NOT to pay anyone for their creations. Perfect example; I saw the comedian Bertram Williams uploaded a video. He is in the video, his voice is in video. I later saw two other people (Jamaican young police & rawper crawper) reposted the same video they didn't originated. The creator of the video as the veiws to be monetized. So YouTube said the creator, although he appeared in it, narrated the video wasn't the creator although the whole world know Bertram Williams and his voice.

YouTube: We have community guidelines.
Me: Ok. I'll report YouTube to YouTube's community guidelines.

I specifically followed all of these guidelines when making a "History of Mortal Kombat" documentary. All the violence was age appropriate and I censored my content and clearly stated the educational intent of the project. But it was "Age Restricted." When I contacted YouTube support to appeal this age restriction, they said "While it follows out guidelines.. we're still aging restricting it."

If it follows the guidelines, why is it being age restricted? This completely destroyed the momentum of that video

"You'll get a warning the first time it happens." Anyone else experienced sudden demonetization without knowing the specifics like which video violated the community guidelines and why? smh

So videos about cats & cooking are OK. Everything else is DEVIANT & must be censored! We're not in YouTube anymore. 😎😃😎

Remember that time YouTube's all about sharing media to entertain people and motivate YouTubers through creativity?
Yeah, good old times.

You don't communicate with creators, people have to turn to other social platform to get basic answers, you don't equally enforce guidelines, and the ones that are in clear violation still keep thier channels, while also being to harsh and taking away peoples lively hood when it is not necessary. Justice for creators.

There are very large channels that copy/pasta other creators work into 'compilations'. They get 100Ks of subs, views, and monetize other peoples work. They spend no money on materials, gear, software costs for rendering, and the MANY hours of rendering, etc. They do nothing except use others people creations and are rewarded tremendously for it.

I just got out of YouTube jail for "violation" of their "harassment and cyberbullying" guidelines when all I was doing was showing a foot model love

You forgot to mention that they are haphazardly applied and that there is no way to find out why or how your video violated.

"Here are YouTube's Community Guidelines that we don't enforce on the traditional media we profit from but hold small creators to."

As Youtube earning increases they make it hard for us to make money because they want more money.... That cruel!

The fact that channels like QuantumTV still exist proves that this is just nonsense.

I have a warning on my channel and they literally won’t remove it. 🤦🏾‍♂️ so annoying

*Limitless Mindset, a channel with +15, 000 subscribers that I worked very hard on for years was just recently terminated with NO warning, explanation or strikes.* It is one of the recent victims of Youtube's war against small independent creators and free thinkers.

In the past, Youtube had this three strike system that gave you ample warning when you were doing something naughty, if you uploaded a video and got a strike, you had a pretty good idea of what not to do. Now it appears that system is gone, they can just pull the plug anytime without warning. Youtubers who have anything remotely interesting to say perpetually have a sword of Damocles dangling over their channels.

It was one of the least offensive channels on Youtube, I stayed far away from politics and edgy stuff. I had several hundred well produced and thoughtful videos about health and personal growth which were really loved by my audience. I have had strangers tell me that my helpful and inspirational videos dissuaded them from suicide.

There's a lot of talk about how the people get "radicalized" on the Internet. If I spent 5 years building a small business, like a coffee shop, in a neighborhood, paying property taxes and one day some corrupt cops come in and beat me up, trash my shop and destroy my business I'm going to become quite "radicalized" if there's no due process by which the city recognizes my rights and I can get justice. That's authoritarian, totalitarianism, even a small child recognizes this as moral despicable. Yet, this is the state of things between creator and Youtube.

People are being radicalized by Youtube but it's not from watching conspiracy theory videos, it is from Youtube's systemic abuse of the creator.
