Today I made another trip to Marlay Park in Dublin. I am now the proud owner of Colm Ó Meachair's last harp, which was finished by his son Shane Ó Meachair. I am thrilled and privileged to own this magnificent and historically significant instrument. I composed a new piece to mark this special occasion: The Last Harp: Planxty Shane Ó Meachair. This video was filmed in Colm's workshop.

Composed and arranged by Fiachra Ó Corragáin

Your amazing! And I love the beautiful scenery when you play outside. I think I am the only harpist from Louisiana. I love to play in my backyard which is like a forest and Bayou together.
