R211 (R211A) Cars Testing in System Under Own Power for the First Time

Here are various videos featuring new Kawasaki Heavy Industries R211 subway cars! During early August, then-recently delivered R211A cars started moving under their own power. As a result, the cars started undergoing dynamic testing - in particular, on a track alongside the A north of Broad Channel. This is likely the first time the cars moved under their own power outside of subway yards!
