I am a praise team bassist recovering from an aneurysm/stroke Dec 30, 2023. This song was in the last music set I performed at church. The lyrics ran through my mind for the three weeks I was in the ICU. I have much to be thankful for to God and the Son. My wife told me that she almost became a widow twice. The first instance was from the aneurism/stroke itself. The second instance was from the surgical brain treatment for the aneurysm/stroke. Coil failed, blood vessel too small. Surgical superglue did the job. I will not forget what God has done for me! Even in the ICU, I silently praised God for being alive with the prospect of a full recovery.

I've been going through so much spiritual attack, I've been brokenhearted, and bitter from constantly being hurt and lied to and sank into a bit of a depression this past week. I didn't reach out for prayer to anyone as I was embarrassed and ashamed to tell people that I keep opening the door to the same man that keeps causing this hurt. BUT I reached out last night for prayer to my sisters in Christ and today I woke up in such GOOD SPIRITS, I woke up like I was never in a depressed state this past week.
