"Dance Moms" follows Abby Lee Miller and the nation's favorite tween dancers as they take on Hollywood while new auditions, new competitions, and new studios raise the stakes.

The road has not been easy for “Dance Mom’s” star Abby Lee Miller. After completing her prison sentence last year, the famed dance instructor was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. But if anything, Abby has proven she is a fighter and is not ready to hang up the dance shoes. The new season of Dance Moms follows Abby as she rebuilds her dance company while battling the after-effects of cancer that has left her confined to a wheelchair. Abby is ready to get back to her life and do what she loves most…teaching students to dance! the difference between maddie and all of her "competitors" is that maddie tells a story whenever she dances, and she can make any choreography interesting to watch. also her musicality is just breathtaking wow. talia is a great dancer technically, but i did not see the story in her solo at all. like why was there a chair in the middle of the stage?

Maddie was a great dancer for her age, and she’s also a great dancer now. She was painted as the favourite in the show to create drama, and it was definitely putting a lot of stress on her to perform well because one mistake and she would be picked apart by the audience. Frankly, if I were in her position, I would have mental breakdowns every day. Whether or not she’s the most successful one out of dance moms today doesn’t matter, no one should have to compete with their friends - I don’t compete with my friends

Edit: I also wanna say that if I have ppl constantly compare me to my friends, I’ll honestly find it pretty hard to maintain a genuine relationship - it’s just gonna feel like every time we interact it’ll be a chance for ppl to contrast our abilities

Do you know that Kalani's first perfect 300 solo, "fragile forest" was also in the same competition(it wasn't aired)
Maddie and Kalani both got a perfect 300 but the judges had to choose one and they went with Maddie

No one else would have been able to do this solo by maddie. It was amazing and she just has that special spark to make it something extra.
