I lost my great grandma a few months back... My mom was and still is heavy into drugs, so I had to move and stay with my great grandma for awhile... She passed of dementia and the worst part of it was she never remembered who I was when I came home. We lost my dad coming up on 3 years in Aug. I just have the older brother and he married into 2 nieces and since then given us my nephew who was still in the womb when he died I had complications at birth that almost killed me and diabetic since I was 9 (28 this year) This song is like picture perfect for my pain and feelings and I feel like my brother was able to close the door like you're suppose to upon death but me and my dad always had a difficult time getting along in life and that line "a reason just to stay" and surrounding lyrics always hits me hard I don't have a wife or any kids or even a GF and always think that it'd better if God or "god" took me instead of him for my nieces and nephew
